Comments/Corrective Action Taken

Comments/Corrective Action Taken:

Outside work on exterior of building. Sssp is not on site. Juan said Jose has it with him (he is the one who started the job) Juan has a CAZ zone around his lift, but he will secure the material platform on top of the lift as well, as I explained the near miss in Portland. Even though there is a caz zone, there are still other workers in the same area. I explained the hazards to him and he will secure it before he begins to work again.

This is the second day in a row where I observed two separate carpenters wearing a hooded sweatshirt over their head, under their vest in 85 degree weather. They said they do it to keep the fiberglass off them. We need a o look into a better option for our employees during the hot summer months to prevent heat stress. They other worker was Jesse Prater at SMMC.
